At STS the key word is quality. We encourage our contributors to shoot top quality images, on a wide variety of subjects. We think that the quality of an image is much more important than the quantity. Give us few images, but only good ones. The variety is also important, as it helps to increase the distribution of your images thereby increasing the possibility of a sale. We expect a minimum submission of around 200 original slides or digital images initially, so that we can keep a meaningful selection from it. Please short list all your images very strictly, on the basis of sharpness, exposure, colour content, and the subject content. Kindly send in only your best images. The slides should be mounted with your copyright message written on it along with the relevant Keywords. All digital images must be sent along with Keywords either in the 'File Info' section or on a separate Excel sheet

Please DO NOT send images without your name as well as relevant Keywords. Please try to send in both vertical as well as horizontal images of your chosen subjects. This is very necessary otherwise you could miss out on a potential sale, if your image format is not matching with the required visual. Stock photography is a long term option and it should be taken like that. Please do not start asking us for returns, immediately after submitting your images. Although we can understand your normal instincts, please be reassured that we are trying to do our best to make sure that your images go in front of the buyers as soon as possible. The actual sale depends on several factors, and in all probability it will take some time. It helps to be patient in this business. We expect our contributors to submit new stock images regularly, so that the stock size and the subject base of every contributor goes up over a period of time. This helps in increasing the probability of making a sale.
